Im using a Linksys WRT54GL with the newest firmware from DD-WRT on a 50/50Mbit fiber connection. I have tested the connection directly and its running 54/48Mbit stabel over a 1GB test. The problem is when I connect the Linksys router it slows down to about 30-31Mbit both ways.
