To get your exact zipcode please share your location. You can also find the zipcode of any address or point clicked on the map. Searching for a city may not give you a result as there are many zip codes within a city. if this is the case click within the city limits to find the zip code of that spot.

All I want to know is when my phone is OFF does it show "Location not available" or will it show my last location when my phone was turned off? This should be something you can test easily. Turn it off. Call a friend and ask them what they see. The main problem here is that if you give an app or website permission to access your location, that may be remembered next time, and the website will always be able to see where you are.

Open up Google Maps on your phone, go to your timeline and select the three-dotted icon and then “Manage location settings”. Now, select Google location settings and turn off Location History for your account.
